South Zone suffer batting collapse after Shuvagata’s 6-wicket in BCL

A six wicket haul by Shuvagata Hom saw South Zone suffered batting collapse as they dismissed their first innings at 260 against Central Zone on the first day of four-day Bangladesh Cricket League held on Saturday at BKSP ground no 3 in Savar.
Middle order batsman Tushar Imran top scored with 81 runs followed by M Mithun 42, Al Amin 30. Shuvagata Hom caused the major damage for South Zone as he grabbed six wickets conceding 91 runs.
He was well supported by Abu Haider and Sharifullah who both picked up two wickets giving away 34 and 48 runs respectively.
In reply, Central Zone started their first innings in the afternoon and scored 4 for no loss at stumps. Shadman Islam and Abdul Mazid were on the crease with 3 and 0 runs as the stumps were drawn for the day.
