Tushar Imran hit a magnificent unbeaten ton enabled South Zone to dominate the first day of the fourth round of four-day Bangladesh Cricket League (BCL) they scored 292 for 3 at stumps against North Zone held on Sunday.
Tushar Imran scored an impressive 127 runs from 234 balls laced with 14 boundaries and two over boundaries and also shared 158 runs inseparable partnership with Shahriar Nafees (50) for the fourth wicket stand to finish the first day quite comfortably, after the departure of Anamul Haque (39),
Imrul Kayes (31) and Soumya Sarkar (26).
Nafees cracked three boundaries and one over boundary during his 127-ball stay on the crease, after South Zone opted to bat first at BKSP ground in Savar.
Pacer Shafiul Islam and Sunzamul Islam shared one wicket each conceding 40 and 89 runs respectively.
