An agreement between Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority (BEPZA) and South Korean company CS Bangla Limited was signed on Monday aiming to invest US$ 25 million to establish a tent and outdoor camping items manufacturing industry in Mongla Export Processing Zone (EPZ).
The agreement was signed at BEPZA complex in the city aiming to enhance foreign investment, said a press release.
Abdul Halim Molla, Member (Investment Promotion) of BEPZA and Do Kyun Kim, Managing Director of CS Bangla Limited signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations.
Among others, Major General Mohammad Habibur Rahman Khan, Executive Chairman, M Mosaddeque Ali, and Member (Engineering), M Shawkat Nabi, were present at the signing ceremony.
The fully foreign owned company will produce annually 4.3 million pieces of tent, sleeping bags, camping chairs, bags and other accessories.
