South Asian TT Bangladesh beat Bhutan, lose to India

Bangladesh champions Palolic Club made a mixed results on the 2nd day of the three-day first ever six-team Advocate Golam Mostafa Memorial South Asian Club Table Tennis Championship at MA Aziz Stadium gymnasium in the port city on Sunday.
Palolic Club beat Thimphu TT Club by 3-0 sets in the day’s first match and later they conceded 2-3 sets defeat against Bengal Group of India in the day’s other fixture.
In the day’s other matches, Bengal Group of India defeated Maldivian TT Club 3-0; Huawei TT Club of Nepal beat Southern TT Club of Sri Lanka 3-1 while Southern TT Club of Sri Lanka again beat Thimphy TT Club of Bhutan 3-0.
The final and prize distribution ceremony of the three-day meet will be held Monday afternoon at the same venue.
Deputy Minister for Youth and Sports Arif Khan Joy MP will be the chief guest at the closing ceremony and distribute prizes.
Chattogram City Mayor AJM Nasiruddin will be present as the guest of honour. Divisional Commissioner of Chattogram M Abul Mannan and Treasurer of Asain Table Tennis Union Danaraj Chowdhury will be the special guests at the function, presided by BTTF President Hedayetullah Al Mamun.
