Bangladesh eve cricket team continued their losing streak as they lost the second T20 match by 32 runs in the three-match T20I series against South Africa Women at Mangaung Oval, Bloemfontein on Saturday.
South Africa has now taken unassailable 2-0 lead in the three match series.
However Bangladesh eves continued on to show their resilience as they lost first T20 by only 17 runs while Sunday they tried to chase a mammoth 170 runs target.
Put into bat first by Bangladesh, South Africa posted a commanding total of 169 for 4 in 20 overs courtesy of half centuries by Luus and Niekerk. Nahida and Panna shared two South Africa’s wickets each.
In reply, Shamima’s knock of 50 gave some hope in the chase. But some tight bowling from the South Africa restricted Bangladesh for 137 for 5 in 20 overs. Ismail took 2 wickets for 29.

Bangladesh Women: 137/5 in 20 overs (Shamima 50, Fargana 37, Panna 14; Ismail 2/29)
Result: South Africa Women won by 32 runs..
