Sourav Ganguly discharged from hospital after Covid treatment

Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) president and former India captain Sourav Ganguly has been discharged from the hospital in Kolkata after his Covid-19 treatment, hospital sources informed NDTV. Ganguly will remain in home isolation for 14 days. Sources said that Ganguly’s test results returned negative on Friday and all his parameters are normal. According to news agency PTI, Ganguly has not been infected with the Omicron variant.
The former India cricketer was admitted to the Woodlands hospital on December 27 after testing positive.
“We have discharged Ganguly this afternoon. He will have to be in home isolation for the next fortnight under doctors’ observation.
