Bangladesh’s star cricketer Soumya Sarkar is scheduled to tie the knot on February 26. He will marry 19-year-old Prionti Debnath Puja, daughter of Gopal Debnath. Hailing from Tutpara in Khulna, they have been living in Dhaka. Puja completed her ‘O’ level examination this year from an English medium school in the capital. The ‘gaye holud’ and marriage programme will be held on February 26 while the reception is scheduled for February 28 at the Montu Mia’s ‘Bagan Bari’ near Satkhira town, said Soumya’s father Kishori Mohon Sarker, a former district education officer of Satkhira. About 1,500 guests will be invited to the marriage ceremony.
