Opening batsman Soumya Sarkar and middle-order batsman Ariful Haque will join the Bangladesh team in West Indies to boost up the strength of their Twenty20 squad.
Soumya, who was also named as T20 skipper of Bangladesh A team for the tour of Ireland, will join the ODI squad in Ireland after the third one-day match on that tour.
The duo left Dhaka last evening and after the ODI series, regular ODI captain Mashrafe Mortaza along with Nazmul Hossain Shanto and Anamul Haque will return home, confirmed a BCB source to BSS.
The Tigers will play a three-match Twenty20 series after the ongoing ODI series in which they already took lead 1-0 after winning their opening game by 48 runs.
The win definitely relieved the Tigers after being embarrassed in the two-match Test series by West Indies where they were humbled inside three days on both occasions.
