Entertainment Report :One of the busiest actors and models of present time, Sonia has acted in six Eid special plays for the coming Eid-ul-Azha. Among these, Bibhrom, written by Humayun Ahmed and directed by Meher Afroz Shaon will be telecasted on the Eid night in Channel i. In this play, popular film actor Riaz will be seen acting with Sonia. Also, another comedy play titled I Am a Dog (Amar Ekta Kukur Achhey) will be screened on Channel i. Directed by Iftekhar Ahmed Fahmi, this comedy will present Marzuk Russell as Sonia’s co-actor. Directed by Hridi Haque, the play titled Chokh-er Aloi Dekhechhilam Chokher Bahire will be screened on NTV where Sonia has played the role of a blind girl named Laboni. In this play, her co-actors are Hridi Haque and Sajal. Sonia’s another play that is going to be screened on NTV is Middle Class Sentiment. Apart from Sonia, Ashfaq Nipun has acted in this play directed by Adnan Al Rajib. Along with Mosharraf Karim, Sonia has done another play Superman that has been directed by Mabrur Rashid Banna and is going to be screened on RTV. Besides, on SA TV, Chokrobohu will be screened that has been directed by Hridi Haque. Sonia’s co-actors in this drama are Anisur Rahman Milon, Tanjika and Litu Anam. About acting in six Eid-special plays, Sonia has said, “The plays I am working in for Eid are exceptional from the mainstream ones regarding their creativity and storylines. Some of the characters were really challenging. I am pleased to have worked in these plays. I hope our audience will like them all.” It may be mentioned that Sonia is going to work in movies from October 10. Produced by Versatile Media and directed by Alvi Ahmed, the shooting of the underworld mafia action movie U-Turn will take place in several venues of Dhaka and Chittagong. The production has informed that the shooting of the movie will be completed within 40 days.
