Sheikh Arif Bulbon :Recently Sonia Hossain went to USA for travelling. After returning from USA she has become busy with her works in media. From today Sonai will start to work in a new TV commercial (TVC). She will work under the direction of Dhrubo in a TVC of a multinational company’s a product, Lassi. In the meantime, on the occasion of coming Valentines Day, Sonia has already acted in two TV plays. One was Chayanika Chowdhury’s Swapnoghuri, while another was Mostafa Kamal Raj’s Chand O Bamon-er Golpo. In these plays, Ziaul Faruk Apurbo and Maznun Mizan performed against her. These plays are expected to be aired on Valentines Day in any satellite channels, Sonia said.Meanwhile, Sonia has talked with some directors for several films. Within very short time she will announce the matter. Sonia has planned to be engaged with films this year. For this reason, she is going to receive training on dance from a dance director from next week, Sonia mentioned.While talking in this regard Sonia told this correspondent, “I want to utilise the New Year for acting in films. I want to work in good script and story based films this year. I also want to work with noted directors. Already I have got several good scripts for some films. I will disclose the matter within very short time. Everybody pray for me.”It may be mentioned that Sonia first acted in Alvi Ahmed’s directed a film titled U-Turn. As a pair, she performed against newcomer Shipon in the film. But when the film will be released she doesn’t know, Sonia said.Meanwhile, Sonia last worked under the direction of Habibul Islam Habib in his directed film Ratrir Jatri. She performed against Marzuk Russell in the film, Sonia said.
