Popular model and TV actress Sonia Hossain tied the nuptial knot with Shamim Ahmed Steve, hailed from Mymensingh. To give priority of the communication between Sonia and Steve for long 12 years, members of both families arranged the wedding ceremony. Their ‘Gaye Holud’ was held on January 3. On Thursday at Sonia’s Bashundhara’s residence their aqdh was taken place. Today at a restaurant in the city’s Gulshan area their post wedding reception is scheduled to be held.
Steve has been working in a private airlines company, Air Arabia. While sharing his feelings to get Sonia as his life partner Steve told this correspondent, “I am very much delighted to get her. Allah decided her for me, Alhamdullah. We have many days’ communication. We had a silent liking to each other which has successfully continued through this marriage.”
Sonia shared her feelings by this way, “Everybody pray for us we can pass the rest of life together happily. Steve came into my life as a blessing. I want to pass my life with him as blessing.”
Hailed from Gaibandha, Sonia Hossain was top five contestants in ‘You Got The Look’ contest in 2003. In 2005, she first acted in Gias Uddin Selim directed play ‘Premey Porar Golpo.’ Later she was engaged with her higher study abroad for few years. After returning country she again became engaged with acting. Now she will become choosy while acting. She last acted in Mabrur Rashid Bannah directed play ‘Apple Sutro.’ Sonia acted only movie is Alvi Ahmed’s ‘U-Turn.’
