Sonali Bank Sports & Recreation Club and Golden Chess Club took joint lead in the points table with 10 points after 6th or penultimate round games in the Walton Home Appliance 1st Division Chess League being held at Bangladesh Chess Federation hall-room.
Debadas Biswas Smirity Sangsad and Basir Memorial Chess Club are jointly shared the 2nd position with 8 points.
In the 6th round games Sonali Bank split points with Golden Chess by 2-2 points. Debdas Biswas Smirity beat Destiny 2000 Limited by 4-0 points, Basir Memorial Chess beat Farashganj Sporting Club by 3-1 points and Protiva Daba Goshti beat Mohakhali Pradip Sangah by 2.5-1.5 points.
