Md. Ashraful Moqbul, joined as Chairman of Board of Directors of Sonali Bank Limited recently, said a press release.
Earlier he was the Senior Secretary to the Government of Bangladesh.
Ashraful Moqbul started his career in the Bangladesh Civil Service in January 1981. During his 35 years’ tenure in the civil service Md. Ashraful Moqbul served in various key positions in different ministries as well as in the field administration. He served as Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Civil Aviation & Tourism, Divisional Commissioner of Chittagong, Additional Secretary of Ministry of Education, Chairman of Land Appeal Board, Secretary/Senior Secretary of Ministry of Textiles & Jute and Senior Secretary of Bangladesh Parliament Secretariat.
Ashraful completed his B.A Hon’s & M A Degree in English Language and Literature from University of Dhaka on 1975 and 1976. He secured Master of Science degree on “Interdisciplinary Studies Specializing on Project Management” from the American University, Washington DC, USA.
