Feni Correspondent : A local Juba League leader was hacked to death at Adarsha village under Sonagazi upazila in the district early Wednesday. The deceased was identified as Jasim Uddin (30), president of Adarsha village Juba League unit. Officer-in-Charge of Sonagazi Model Thana Police Station Md. Abu Saleh told the New Nation that the murder was committed by his rival group over establishing supremacy in the area. According to witnesses, Jasim Uddin was injured in a clash with another group of Juba Laegue. Critically injured Jasim Uddin was taken to Feni Sadar Hospital, but the duty doctors declared him dead. At least six people were shown arrested in this connection.
