One drug addicted Sirajul Master murdered his father hit by bamboo stick at Pathardubi village under Bhurungamari upazila in Kurigram in on Monday evening . In this connection a case was filed at night . After that police arrested the killer Tuesday morning from Shapla Chattar area in Kurigram while he was fled away by bus, police said, though he went into hiding after the incident. The deceased was identified as Nurul Islam (60) was a teacher of Kinder Garten School in that area.
Local sources said that Sirajul Islam son of Nurul Islam was a drug addicted person in the area. He used to create bad and quarrel scene in the house for money to take drug. He is married and his wife went to her father’s house following unbearable incident daily.
On the day of incident he created pressure to his father for money. While his father refused to give him the money he exchanged hot words with his father and scolded him more at one stage of their altercation the agitated son Sirajul Islam hit his father with a bamboo sticks several times. His father was killed on the spot.Officer-in-charge of Bhurungamari police station Emteaz Kabir admitted the incident and told that a familiar incident was occurred between father and son.The son hit his father on his forhead.
