Son was killed and the father was injured seriously in a road accident in Kurigram on Saturday.
The incident took place at Aikumari Vati village under Joymonirhat union of Bhurumgamari upazila. When the van puller Mazam Ali (45 ) along with his son Babu 6 was going to bazar with the van and when they reached at Shahid Lt. Samad intersection a speedy track knocked them from the opposite direction. Son Babu was killed on the spot and the injured father was sent to Rangpur Medical College Hospital in a critical condition.
Police seized the killer track but the driver managed to escape. Officer-in-charge of Bhurungamari police station Zia Latiful Islam admitted the incident and told that the body was handed over to his family members.
