Chandpur Correspondent :
Tanzina Akther, Tasaddek Hossain Talukder and Tania Akther- two daughters and one son of Abu Taher Talukder and Selina Akhter hailed from Kachua Upazila in Chandpur are now being deprived of their property rights due to second marriage of their father and conspiracy of the step-mother.
It is alleged that Selina Akhter divorced Abu Taher Talukder in 2011 as her husband was involved with other affairs and after that the step son and daughters fall victim of the the step-mother. They were treated as house maids and they were given food instead of work in the house and outside.
On the other hand, her father Abu Taher Talukder has compelled her to file case against her mother Selina Akhter alleging that she has taken cash money and gold ornaments from the house when she left but it has been proved false and motivated.
In the meantime, Tanzina Akther was forcedly married and her one younger sister and brother became helpless .
Meanwhile, a legal notice was served to their father demanding their alimony but no response was found. When Tanzina Akther again went to her home and demanded her due share, she was beaten by her father . To deprive them , father Abu Taher Talukder is using a human right organisation namely Human Rights Legal Aid Society. This organisation formed a 5-member investigation team and one of the chargesheeted accused of case filed by Tanzina Akther was included in the team . The local elite has raised the question about the so-called human right body and said we are doubtful whether the human right organisation is working to save the father or the ill-fated children .
