Abu Hasan, 22 arrested on Saturday night on the charge of killing his father on June 10, 2015, said he willingly slaughtered his father with a local made sharp weapon .
Police said Abu Hasan gave statement under Section 161 to Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) circle B’ Md. Gaziur Rahman Saturday night and under Section 164 to senior judicial magistrate Md. Abdullah Al Mamun on Sunday morning.
He confessed that he killed his father Habibur Rahman allies Dhalu Mia, 50 at 5.00pm on June 10, 2015 at the residence.
In presence of the magistrate and police, Abu Hasan stated that he was a student of Bsc class in Bogra government Azizul Haque College. He needed Tk 2500 for form fill up of 1st year examination on the day his father refused to give the money. So Abu Hasan was stolen Tk 2500 to break his father’s drawer absence of his father.
