Staff Reporter :Just a day after the killing of Jagriti Prokashoni owner, Somoy Prokashoni publisher Farid Ahmed received death threat through a short message service (SMS).The threat came about 9:48am on Sunday from the mobile number 01721425008, Farid Ahmed said. The message reads, “Nastikder onek boi chhepechho tumi, tomar onek paap. Mrittyur jonyo prostut houl!- Al-Ahrar, UK.””You have published many books of atheists. You have committed crime. That’s why be prepared for death.”-Al-Ahrar, UK. The publisher is yet to file any general diary with any police station. Farid, however, said the Officer-in-Charge of Sutrapur Police Station has called him after hearing the matter. Police also visited his office at Sutrapur but he was not present there.
