Mentioning that some ‘intellectuals’ are misinterpreting the judiciary in TV talk-shows, Chief Justice SK Sinha on Sunday urged them to refrain from this. He made the call while addressing a rally after inaugurating the Chief Judicial Magistrate Bhaban here which has been constructed spending Tk 27 crore. Noting that some 27 lakh cases are pending with courts across the country, the Chief Justice underscored the need for speedily disposal of those to mitigate public sufferings. Law Minister Anisul Huq and Planning Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal also spoke at the rally.
