Some 76 journalists of Bagerhat district received cheques of the Premier Sheikh Hasina as financial support at a ceremony organised by Bagerhat Press Club in its auditorium on Tuesday. SM Mahfuzul Haq, Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Information, Md. Mamunur Rashid, DC, Bagerhat, Pankaj Chandra Roy, Police Super of Bagerhat, and Md. Mozaffor Hossain, President of Bagerhat Press Club, were present, among others, at the ceremony.
