The leaders of the Chittagong Nagorik Forum demanded to solve the water-logging problem of the port city permanently. They also demanded to make the city’s traffic system digital and corruption-free.
They came up with the demands while Chittagong Nagorik Forum formed a human chain and held rally at Jamal Khan Road in the port city on Saturday morning.
Kamal Uddin, secretary general of Chittagong Nagorik Forum, chaired the rally which was held at Chittagong Press Club premises Saturday morning. Among others, Majharul Haque Shah, SM Ziaur Rahman, President of Covered Van Owners Association Haji Monir Ahamod, BIW CBA President Abdur Sabur Khan, Pulak Sarkar, Mohammed Abul Bashar, Mohammed Abu Jafar, Mohammed Delwar Hoss-ain, Md Akram Hossain, Md Imran Meah, Abdur Rahman, Md Shahadat Hossain, M Dipu Chowdhury, AKM Jamal Uddin, Advocate Barakat, Mohammed Osman Gani, Shahinoor Akter, Nur Majumdar, Kaji Murad, Mohammed Ibrahim Badshah, Mohammed Ali, Yasmin Akter, Hasina Akter and Dilwara Begum spoke on the occasion.
