The loop of Akhtaruzzaman Flyover towards Baizid Bostami road in the city opens on Friday by the Chairman of Chattogram Development Authority (CDA) Abdus Salam aimed at congestions mitigating the alarming traffic congestion in Nasirabad and Solasahar area ahead of Eid festival.
Following the opening of flyover loop in Solasahar crossing, the severe traffic congestions in the crossing will ease to maximum extents.
The Chairman of the city watch dog said , out of two passage of the loop was opened and the next passage will be opened before the Eid vacation. He disclosed that an amount of Tk.700 crores spent for constructing the loop. He further said the development work of the port city will continue unstopped during the present govt headed by the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.Among others CDA Board member Jasimuddin, KBM Shahjahan, ward councilor Morshed alam, Atiqur Rahman and local AL leades were present on the occasion.
