Without any allegation to anybody noted film actor Masud Parvez alias Sohel Rana left three posts of Jatiyo Party. He sent his resignation letter last Thursday to the party’s Chairman Hussain Muhammad Ershad. Sohel Rana was presidium member, advisor of the president of election affairs and convener of the central committee of Jatiyo Cultural Party at a time.
While talking in this regard Sohel Rana told this correspondent, “I have resigned from the party without any complain or allegation to anybody. Party’s chief always liked me, also loved me. I believe despite leaving the party it will remain same.”
But Sohel Rana did not get any reply regarding sending his resignation letter. His directed last movie was Return Ticket. His acted two movies – Aamar Piraner Kono Map Nai (directed by Shahidul Haque Khan based on Kazi Rosy’s a poem) and Innocent Love (directed by Apurbo Rana) – are waiting release soon. “Viewers will watch me in new way in the first movie,” Sohel Rana said.
