To celebrate silver jubilee of conjugal life between noted film actor, director and producer Masud parvez (Sohel Rana) and Zinat Begum, a programme was arranged in the city’s Uttara Club on Sunday night.
Noted film actress and director Sarah Begum Kobori, Omar Sunny-Moushumi, Shabnur, Shimla, Rubel, film actor and dance director Javed, director Shahdul Haque Khan, politicians GM Kader and Bobby Hajjaj, among others, were present in the programme.
Hosted by Sohel Rana’s son Mashrur Parvez Zibran the programme began after cutting a cake.
Later presented actors recalled their memories related to Sohel Rana.
It may be mentioned that Sohel Rana attached with film production by liberation war based movie Ora Egarojon. To keep requests from late Sumita Devi, SM Shafi and Ahmed Zaman Chowdhury, he debuted his career as a hero in movie titled ‘Masud Rana’ in 1974. He himself made the movie. Till now he has acted in 300 movies.
