For the first time, Shyamol Mawla and Sohana Saba have worked together in a short film. Recently they finished shooting of a short film titled Mithyabad under the direction of Rabiul Alam Robi.
In the short film, Shyamol has played the role of a driver named Abu Bakar Siddique while Saba made her appearance in a guest role.
While talking about acting in this short film Shyamol told this correspondent, “This is a short film with a very extraordinary story. As a director, Robi has already proven his talent. He has made this short film with immense care. I hope it will draw the attention of the viewers.”
However, the short film Mithyabad is one of the 11 short films those are being produced by Channel i. The final production, which will be a combination of all 11 short films, will be released on the big screen.
Apart from working in the short film, Shyamol Mawla is busy with various Eid plays. He will be seen appearing in several Eid special telefilms directed by Salauddin Lavlu, Sohel Arman, Raju Khan and Rasel Azam, among others.
He has acted in the multi-dimensional characters in these telefilms. Compare to previous Eid in the recent years, Shyamol will appear with different types of stories and unique characters this Eid.
On the other hand, Sohana Saba has already completed the work of an Eid telefilm under the direction of Rokeya Prachy.
Besides, Saba has completed the shooting of Eid special telefilm titled Upohar directed by filmmaker Mushfiqur Rahman Gulzar.
