Soha Ali Khan turned author with her debut book The Perils of being Moderately Famous, which has received immense praise from readers across the country. After a star-studded launch in Mumbai, Soha launched the book in Delhi today along with her mother Sharmila Tagore. The event was held at Bikaner House, the perfect heritage setting for the royal family to unveil the book and interact with the Delhi audiences.
The book, published by Penguin Randomhouse India, is a collection of Soha’s personal essays where she recounts, with self-deprecating humour, what it was like growing up in one of the most illustrious families of the country.
In conversation with Barkha Dutt, the event saw Soha speak about her journey writing this book and how she has expressed her personal experiences and her mother reveal some interesting details about Soha’s growing up years.
