Noted social worker Alhajj Masammad Khaleda Akher Bhuiyan , Chairperson Shamsuddin Bhiyan and Company and mother of Kishoreganj Pourashava Mayor Al hajj Mazharul Islam Bhuiyan (Kanchon) died at Applo Hospital in the capital on Saturday morning. She was 90.
She is survived by a host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn his death. Her namez-e-janaza was held at Bhuiyan Markez Mosjid in Kishoreganj town after Asar prayer on Saturday.

Dilara Begum Asma M.P, Deputy Commissioner G.S.M Zafarullah, Police Super Md. Anwar Hossain Khan, Zila Parished Administrator Adv. Zillur Rahman, Civil Surgeon Dr. Muklesur Rahman, Bar Persident Adv. Shah Azizul Hoque and CAB President Alam Sarwar Tito expressed deep shock at the death of Khaleda Akhter.
