Snigdha Srabon is a present generation’s actor of theatre and television drama. Hailed from Bhairab, Snigdha has been engaged to establish herself
as a good actor. Snigdha started her acting career through theatre plays. From 2012, she worked with theatre group, Drishtipat Natya Sangsad for long time. She got appreciation to act under this theatre group in plays Nagor Alir Kichchha and Koila Ronger Chador. In Nagor Alir Kichchha, Snigdha played in four characters in every stage of the drama, while in Koila Ronger Chador, she played the role of Sathi. M A Salam gave direction of these two plays. Besides these, Snigdha also acted in street drama Joratali. Directed by Kazi Anis, M A Salam scripted this drama. Snigdha’s acting in
role of a war-heroine is getting appreciation from the audience. To work in theatre plays, Snigdha got the opportunity to act in Jewel Mahmud’s
serial Akash Meghe Dhaka and Bodhu Keno Mon Bujhena. According to director Jewel Mahmud, Snigdha played important roles in these two serials. Though Snigdha has been working in theatre plays and TV dramas for many years but she did not get the scope to work in big screen. Basically she dreams to act in good story based film.
While talking in this regard she said, “I worked in theatre plays and TV dramas. I tried to give my level best effort while acting in these works to follow and maintain directors’ directions properly. But I have many days’ dream to work in a good story based film. But I don’t know when my dream will come into true. Sometimes I feel it is going to be happened soon but some other times I become frustrated in this regard. I strongly believe my dream will become true one day.”
