Mir Rashed bin Aman has taken over as the new CEO of Sonali Life Insurance Company Limited (SLICL). He replaces former CEO Ajit Chandra. He took over the responsibility at a simple ceremony at the Imperial Convention Center at Sonali Life Insurance’s head office in the city recently. Mir Rashed bin Aman, a graduate of the Australian University of Technology, has been Sonali Life’s First Deputy Managing Director and later Additional Managing Director and CFO since 2013, according to a press release.
He has worked for the world-famous financial institution American Express Bank. Mir Rashed has a huge contribution to make Sonali Life Insurance Limited as the first and complete It-based life insurance company of the fourth generation.
Under his leadership, a bunch of talented young people worked hard for a long time to build the most advanced ERP or `Enterprise Resource Planning System.’
