A slaughtered woman body was recovered from the city’s Rayerbagh area on Sunday night. The identity of the body could not be known immediately, police said.
Kadomtali Police Satation’s Sub-Inspector (SI) Md Saleh confirmed the matter and said that police recovered the body from a nearby drain at Palashbari under Kadomtali at around 7:45pm.
The body was sent to the Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) morgue for autopsy.
Police could not arrest anybody in this connection, he said.
