Slaughtered body of businessman recovered from Krishnakathi under Vorpasha union in Bakerganj upazila of Barisal on Friday.
Sub Inspector Harunur Rashid of Bakerganj police station, visiting the spot, said the deceased was identified as Shamim Khan, 31, a cosmetics shop owner and son of Hamid Khan from Krishnakathi village under Vorpasha union.
Police recovering the dead body near a fish farm after informed by local people sent to Barisal Sher E Bangla Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy and this report no case was lodged, SI Harun told.
Local sources said Shamim became missing and his mobile phone found switched off since 8:00 PM Thursday when closing shop at Krishnakathi Bazaar he was retuning home.
Local found his slaughtered dead body near the Talukdar’s fish farm on Friday morning and informed police.
