Molla Md Abu Kausar has been relieved from the president post of Sechasebok League.
Awami League (AL) General Secretary Obaidul Quader made the discloser at a special extended meeting of Dhaka North City unit of Awami League at a city convention center on Wednesday.
He said that, the Prime Minister and AL President Sheikh Hasina removed Molla Kausar from his post.
Earlier on Sunday, AL youth front Juba League’s Chairman Omar Faruk Chowdhury was removed from his position.
Both Omar Faruk and Molla Kausar are facing ACC inquiry while National Board of Revenue (NBR) has frozen bank accounts of them along with their family members and business entities.
Molla Abu Kausar is also the President of Dhaka Wanderers Club, which is among the clubs that had been closed on charges of running illegal casinos.
