The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) yesterday assigned its two officials to look into the matter whether former Marketing Officer (MO) of Sky Distributions Ltd Sumon Kumar Roy plundered Tk 17 lakh from the company.
ACC high-ranking officials in a routine meeting came up with a decision to inquiry into the complaint lodged by the authority of the company and assigned Assistant Director M Saiful Islam under the supervision of Deputy Director Jatan Kumar Saha.
The commission
receiving the allegation took it into cognizance after scrutiny.
The assigned officials have been directed to complete the inquiry within stipulated time. The officers will likely to begin their investigation activities from today (Monday).
Sky Distributions Ltd, located at Banani, is involved in import-export, marketing, sales and distributing of different kinds of products especially lubricants and other energy solutions.
