Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid said skilled human resource is essential to develop the overall socio-economic condition of the country. “Modern technology and skilled human resource have opened the door of prosperity in this world and we have to avail its advantages,” he added.
The minister said this on Wednesday while addressing the 7th Convocation of Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST) at Dhaka International Trade Fair Ground in city’s Sher-e-Banglanagar.
“New generation has to play a vital-role to build the digital Bangladesh and to transform the country into a developed one within 2041,” said Nahid.
AUST Vice-Chancellor Dr A M M Shafiullah, Professor Emeritus and Former Vice-Chancellor of BUET Dr Abdul Matin Patwari and Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM) President Kazi Rafiqul Alam also spoke on the occasion.
Congratulating the graduates, Kazi Rafiqul Alam said the challenges of professional life are multi-faced. “Proper education and training will provide you with the appropriate tools of forming a new world,” he added.
