UNB, Chuadanga :Customs officials detained a Bangladeshi national along with nine gold bars weighing around 1 kg at Darshana check-post in Damurhuda upazila on Friday.The arrestee was identified as Abdul Motaleb, 52, son of Abul Kashem hailing from Tongi in Gazipur district.On information, a team of Customs Intelligencearrested Motaleb around 10am while he was going to India, said customs official at the port Chhobi Rani Dutta.Later, the gold bars were found hidden under his shoes.
