Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has inaugurated Sheikh Jamal Software Technology Park in Chattogram through video conference. After that, the mayor of Chittagong City Corporation unveiled the plaque of IT Park at Singapore-Bangkok market in port city. While unveiling the plaque, he said there is no alternative to entering the digital world and using it properly to enhance the living standards of the people of the country. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has taken the country to a unique height by building a digital Bangladesh along the path laid by Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in a science, technology and technology-dependent Bangladesh. He said 39 high-tech parks have been set up across the country on the advice of Sajeeb Wazed Joy, architect of digital Bangladesh and IT advisor to the government, including one of the heroic freedom fighter Lieutenant Sheikh Jamal Hitech Park in Singapore-Bangkok market. With the Fourth Industrial Revolution looming by 2041, we need to make the country one of the developed world by developing our innovative energy. As a result of digitizing the country, it has been possible to train 15,000 entrepreneurs and provide employment to 2 million people across the country.
He said this while inaugurating the Sheikh Jamal Software Technology Park and unveiling the plaque. The mayor said that despite the Corona epidemic, the trend of positive growth in our economy has continued as economic activities including trade and commerce continue with the help of technology.
With the help of technology, corona awareness, various directions and healthcare, creating educational content for students in collaboration with the Department of Information and Technology so that students’ educational activities do not stop, launching virtual class platform, launching vaccine management system ‘Suraksha’ to protect people of the country from Corona epidemic.
