The sixth and last round of Walton 19th four-day National Cricket League begins today (Wednesday) at four separate venues across the country. In the tier 1 matches, Khulna Division will take on Dhaka Division at Bangladesh Krira Shikkah Prothistan ground in Savar while Barisal Division faces Rangpur Division at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong. In the tier 2 matches, Dhaka Metro will play against Rajshahi Division at Shaheed Kamruzzaman Stadium in Rajshahi while Sylhet Division meets Chittagong Division at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium in Sylhet. After the fifth round of tier 1 matches, Khulna Division dominated the league table with 16 points while Dhaka Division and Rangpur Division are placed in second and third position with 10 points. Bottom-ranked Barisal Division bagged eight points. On the other hand, in the tier-2 matches, Rajshahi Division dominated the points table with 23 points while Sylhet Division stood at second position with 14 points. Dhaka Metro and Chittagong Division are placed in the third and fourth position respectively with equal eight points.
