A Dhaka court placed the six persons on a one-day remand each in a case filed for allegedly impersonating themselves as customs officials and grabbing money from people putting them in trap.
Magistrate Abu Sufian Md Noman, the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM) Court of Dhaka passed the order when Darussalam Police Station Sub-Inspector (SI) SM Alice Mahmud and Investigation Officer of the case, produced them in the court with a five-day remand.
The accused persons are: Md Nurul Haque, 57, Md Sheikh Alam, 43
Md Firoz Alam, 57, Md Mosharraf Hossain, 54, Md Masud Rana, 43, and Md Renu Mia alias Roni, 38.
