bdnews24.com :Six members of a family were injured in a fire that broke out at their house in Narayanganj in early Saturday.Police said an electric short-circuit had sparked the fire.The victims have been identified as ‘Aziza’, 65, ‘Tania’, 16, ‘Tonni’, 12, ‘Mahmud’, 7, ‘Tabinur’, 9, and ‘Tabirul’, 40.The family used to reside in a three-room apartment in the city’s Fatulla locality.Speaking to bdnews24.com, the victims’ neighbour ‘Rabiul’ said, “We heard a loud explosion from Tabirul’s house around Friday midnight and saw it on fire.”We doused the flames with help from other neighbours and took them to hospital.”Assistant Sub-Inspector Haider Ali of Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) police outpost said the injured had been admitted there. He, however, could not say anything on the victims’ condition.
