At least six persons, including three in Brahmanbaria, were killed and 15 others seriously injured in separate road crashes across the country on Saturday.
In Brahmanbaria, at least three persons were killed and five others injured when a truck hit an auto-rickshaw in Bijoynagar upazila of the district on Saturday.
The accident took place on the Dhaka-Sylhet Highway at Islampur-Satborg in the mid day.
The deceased were identified as Abu Taher,60, son of one Misir Ali from Habiganj, Billal Uddin,40, son of Moijuddin, and Santa Shaha,30, wife of one Mithu Ray from the same area.
Islampur Police Outpost Sub-Inspector (SI) Md Siddiq confirmed the matter to Banglanews.
In Shariatpur, a motorcyclist named Tanim Mridha, 22, was killed when his bike collided head-on with an auto rickshaw in a road crash at Cherag Ali Beparikandi area under Naria upazila of the district on Friday night.
The deceased, was an employee at Ibn Sina Medical Hall Pharmacy in Naria, said Naria Police Station officer in-charge AKM Monzurul Haque.
In Moulobibazar, a tennager boy named Alamgir Hossain,12, was kiulled when a truck rammed him at hoglia bazaar under Sreemongal upazila of the district on Saturday morning.
