Six more killed in road crashes

At least six more people were killed and many others critically injured in separate road accidents across the country on Sunday.
In Chattogram, at least three persons including two of a family were killed in separate road crashes on Sunday.
At Rangunia, a man and his minor daughter were killed when a CNG-driven auto-rickshaw collided with the jeep of Lama Upazila Chairman in Shantir Hat area of Chattogram’s Rangunia.
The accident took place around 10:30am on Sunday.
The deceased’s daughter Afifa succumbed to her injuries while undergoing treatment.
Chattagram Medical College Hospital (CMCH) Police Outpost Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Alauddin Talukder told the news media.
Another bicycle rider named Amir Hossain,30, was killed when a passenger bus rammed the cycle in Karnophuli Collge area of the district.

In Sirajganj, a woman named Lucky Khatun, 32, was killed and her husband and daughter was injured when a bus hit a motorcycle at West Point of Bangabandhu Bridge in Kamarkhanda upazila of the district on Sunday morning.
Deceased Lucky was a resident of Nandigram Upazila of Bogura district. Md Shahid Alam, Officer-in-Charge of Bangabandhu Bridge West Police Station said.
In Sherpur, a passenger of an auto-rickshaw named Miraj Ali, 50, was killed when the vehicle was overturned in Jhenaigati of the district.
In Magura, a pedestrian named Atiar Rahman, 45, was killed when a motorbike hit him in Sadar upazila of the district.
