Six more killed in road crashes

At least six more people including three in city were killed and many others critically injured in separate road accidents across the country on Friday.
In Dhaka, at least three more persons were killed in separate road crashes of the city.
At Mohammadpur, two motorcyclists were killed and another was seriously injured when a sand-laden truck rammed their bike in Mohammadpur area in the city on Friday.
The accident took place just opposite to Shyamoli Shishu Mela around 2:00am.
 The deceased were identified as Sohag, 19, and Shihan, 20, resided in city’s Mirpur area.
Local sources said that, of them, one died on the spot and two others were injured and taken to Shaheed Suhrawardi Medical College Hospital where another succumbed to his injuries. The bodies have been kept at hospital morgue.
Another injured Dipu was shifted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH), said Harun-or-Rashid,
 Sub Inspector of Mohammadpur Police Station.
At Gulistan, a bus helper was killed in road accident on Friday noon.
The accident occurred around 12pm.
The victim was identified as Molla, 40, from Rangpur. He worked for Borak Paribahan.
The bus was seized and the driver detained. Body was preserved at Dhaka Medical College Hospital morgue, Waliur Rahman, assistant sub-inspector of Gulistan Ahad Police Box told media.
In Cumilla, a pedestrian named Aysha Akhter, 50, was killed when a truck rammed her at Chandpur area under Debidwar upazila of the district.
Johirul Islam, Officer in-Charge of Debidar Police confirmed the matter to media.
In Sirajganj, a minor boy named Imran was killed when a local Votvoti hit him in upazila of the district.
Jahidul Islam, Sub-Inspector of Ullapara Police told the news to the media.
 In Shariatpur, an old person named Dalil Uddin, 80, was killed when a passenger bus rammed him at Danuka area of the district on Friday morning.
 Moniruzzaman, Officer in-Charge of Sadar Police Station said.
