Six more killed in lightnings strike

At least six more persons were killed and 20 others injured in separate lightning strikes in three districts on Sunday.
In Cox’s Bazar, at least four persons, including a Rohingya man, were killed and several others seriously injured in Ramu and Ukhiya upazilas of the district on Sunday.
In Ramu,a juvenile named Anis, 11, son of one Azizul Islam was killed on Sunday morning.
The deceased was a resident of Bharuakhali Chowdhury Para in Sadar upazila,
The upazila health complex and family planning official Dr Mesbah Uddin Ahmed confirmed the matter to the media.
Elsewhere, two persons were killed and three others injured when lightning hit them in Tulabagan area around 11:30am.
The victims identified as Fatema Khatun, 15, and Afnan, 2, were the children of one Maulana Nurul Islam, a resident of the area.
Ramu Police Station Officer-in-Charge Abul Mansur said.

In Ukhiya, an inhabitant of Camp D-5 under Kutupalong Rohingya camp, named Abdus Salam, 55, was killed after being hit by lightning, said Ukhiya Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Nurul islam Mazumder.
In Khulna, a farmer named Eshanur Kha, 35, was killed when a lightning struck him in Dhomoria upazila of the district on Sunday afternoon.
In Sunamganj, local fisher man named Shafiqul Islam, 36, was killed after struck by a lightning in Dharmopasha upazila of the district.
Ejajul Islam, Officer-in-Charge of Dhormopasha Police Station confirmed the news to the media.
