Police in separate drives seized at least four foreign-made pistols, eight bullets and seven magazines from two bags in the capital’s Badda and Fatullah of Narayanganj district on Wednesday night
They arrested at least six persons, including three children, in this connection.
The arrested persons were identified as Al Amin, 10, Shakil, 11, Md Jisan, 11, Imran, 19, Bashir, 25, and
 Md Masud, 28, police said. Fatullah Model Police Station’s Sub-Inspector (SI) Md Sharfuddin said that two separate teams of police conducted drives at Fatullah when Iran, Shakil and Al Amin assembled in a residence of Fatullah to sell several pistols. Police arrested them with a pistol and five bullets which were into a school bag.
Acting on their statement, two separate police teams conducted drives at Dakkhin Badda and other places of Fatullah and arrested Jisan, Masud and Bashir along with three foreign pistols and three bullets, the police official said.
The attested persons were being interrogated in this connection, the SI said.
A case was filed with Fatullah Police Station in this connection, he said.
Police are investigating the incident, he added.
