Combined Artists Society of Chittagong in a joint statement presented 7- point demands including transmission of 6 hours programmes from Chittagong centre of Bangladesh Television.
The 7-point demands include preservation of rights of all artists of chittagong, establishment of rights of artists, 6 hours transmission, classification of ctg aritists and their enlistment, audition facilities of artists in Ctg centre, introduction of log books for artists, to eliminate the discrimination of honourarium between artists of Dhaka and Chittagong.
Mentionable that 2 hours transmission was introduced from Ctg centre of BTV two decades ago by the present regime in 1996.
President of Combined Artists Society and film actor Pankaj Baidyya, General Secretary and Music Director Farid Bangabashi confirmed the news of issuing the statement to the press.
