Police recovered at least six unidentified dead bodies including women from two districts of the country on Thursday.
Police recovered four unidentified bodies in Savar upazila of Dhaka between Wednesday night and Thursday morning.
At Polsahbari, police recovered unidentified body of a young man beside a readymade garments factory.
Meanwhile, at Ulail, police recovered the hanging body of a young man from a house while the
hanging bodies of two others women were found at Itakhola and Dendabor respectively from Wednesday night to Thursday.
Sheikh Rezaul Haque Dipu, Officer-in-Charge of Ashulia Police Station, confirmed the matter to media that the bodies were sent to Shaheed Suhrawardi Medical College Hospital for autopsy. Separate cases will be filed, OC added.
In Patuakhali, Police recovered unidentified bodies of a man and woman in Bauphal upazila of Patuakhali district on Thursday morning.
Locals spotted the floating bodies in the Lohalia River beside Boga Launch Terminal around 10:00 am and informed police. Police, later, went to the spot and recovered the bodies, said Khandaker Mostafizur Rahman, Officer-in-Charge of Baufhal Police Station.
