Six Bangladesh cricketers and staff return home from West Indies on Wednesday. Right-arm spinner Mehidy Hasan Miraz, right-arm pacer Taskin Ahmed, Fielding Coach Shane McDermott, and Assistant Manager Nafis Iqbal and two other supporting staff landed in Dhaka. Shane McDermott will leave the city today for Australia to enjoy a holiday with his family.
Earlier, Batting Coach Jamie Siddons and physio of the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) Dr Bayjedul Islam returned to Dhaka from West Indies on Tuesday. But Siddons flew for Australia on the same day.
Litton Das, Mahmudullah Riyad, Mustafizur Rahman, Najmul Hossain Shanto, Taijul Islam, Mosaddek Hossain, Mahedi Hasan, Shoriful Islam and Munim Shahriar are expected to return to Dhaka today.
Captain of Bangladesh ODI Cricket team Tamim Iqbal went to United Kingdom from West Indies. He will return home after some days.
Bangladesh whitewashed West Indies 3-0 in the ODI series. Earlier, they were lost the two-match Test series to the Caribbeans and suffered a 0-2 loss in the three-match Twenty20 International (T20I) series. One T20I match was ended in a no result.
