An abnormal situation created for the assault of a bench assistant in Chittagong court building has been resolved by the Session Judge SM Mujibur Rahman on Tuesday.
In protest of the insult , court officials of 20 session and magistrate courts in Chittagong judgeship boycotted courts keeping the doors of the court under lock and key yesterday from 9 am.
Following the call of the session judge SM Mujibur Rahman , a tripartite meeting was held at court auditorium at 12 noon and after a fruitful solution of the complicit in between the court officials and the lawyers, the court officials agreed to resume their duties from afternoon, sources said.
Additional Deputy Police Commissioner(Prosecution) Md. Rezaul Masud said , after the mitigation of the complicit by the session judge, the officials of the courts resume their normal duties.
