Popular children’s puppet show Sisimpur, a Bangladeshi adaptation
of Sesame Street (Sesame Workshop Bangladesh, Ddhoni Chitra), has been nominated at the
prestigious International Kidscreen Awards in the ‘Best Mixed Media Series’ category, along with two other internationally popular programmes, Alien TV (Entertainment One, POP Family Entertainment, Netflix, Nine Network) and Club Mundo Kids (Exile Content Studio). Learning through playing, helping others and building
empathy are emphasised on Sisimpur, which is crucial for child development.
